INBOUND MEDICAL CARE · SHANGHAI
Inbound Medical Services
For international patients considering medical care in China, we begin by understanding the condition and the purpose of the journey. We help connect qualified medical resources and coordinate records, travel, language and appointments—so every step is better prepared and less uncertain.

Medical records and care goals guide connections with appropriate qualified providers.
Required records, anticipated steps, estimated costs and limitations are explained in advance.
Support continues beyond discharge through records, follow-up and care handover.
OUR APPROACH
BEFORE · DURING · AFTER
Cross-border care involves more than medicine. Language, specialty selection, financial arrangements, entry requirements, travel, communication during appointments and the handover of information after returning home can all shape a patient's decisions and experience.
Utheon serves as a medical resource connector and service coordinator, bringing these moving parts into one understandable pathway. Diagnosis, examinations, prescriptions and treatment decisions always remain with the qualified medical institutions and licensed clinicians providing care.
“Even in an unfamiliar city, every patient should know where to go, whom to meet and what comes next.”UTHEON SERVICE NOTE
A CONTINUOUS SERVICE SYSTEM
Services vary according to the patient's condition, destination, provider requirements and available resources. The framework below does not mean every case includes every item.
We help organize diagnoses, pathology, imaging, laboratory results, medications and prior treatment, while clarifying the questions the patient hopes to address.
Based on the records and care goals, we help connect qualified medical institutions, departments and professional teams.
After medical arrangements are confirmed, we help clarify appointment documentation, entry-related information, timing, accommodation and transport needs.
As agreed, support may include arrival guidance, language coordination, appointment flow and necessary non-clinical assistance.
We help organize discharge documents, results and medical instructions, coordinate follow-up visits and support information handover to physicians in the patient's home country.
SERVICE SCOPE
FROM MEDICAL NEED TO DAILY DETAIL
Specialist consultation, second opinions, health assessment, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation needs are evaluated by the relevant medical provider.
Subject to availability, we help coordinate communication support and note individual language, dietary, religious or companion needs in advance.
We help align arrival, departure, accommodation, hospital navigation and companion needs with the care schedule. Third-party services require separate written confirmation.
FIVE STEPS, ONE COORDINATOR
A mature cross-border care service treats pre-arrival assessment, on-site coordination and post-departure follow-up as one journey. Every step depends on provider confirmation and the patient's informed choice.
We learn about the health concern, current care, purpose of travel, timing and language needs.
Recent medical records and imaging are organized, missing information is identified and materials are submitted for provider review.
We communicate provider feedback, the proposed schedule, estimated costs, possible changes and payment requirements.
Arrival, registration, communication and transfers are aligned with the confirmed medical schedule.
After discharge, we help organize reports and instructions and coordinate follow-up, remote communication and local care handover.
BEFORE YOU TRAVEL
PREPARE ONCE, MOVE WITH CLARITY
Complete records help providers assess whether they can accept the case, which specialties may be needed and how long the patient may need to stay. Patients are responsible for providing accurate, complete information with any necessary authorization.
Diagnosis documents, clinic or discharge notes, pathology, laboratory results, imaging reports and original image files.
Previous procedures, a treatment timeline, current medications, allergies, implants and other relevant information.
Passport, visa status, insurance information or self-pay arrangements, subject to provider and authority requirements.
Preferred language, mobility, dietary or religious needs, accompanying persons and accessibility requirements.
SERVICE BOUNDARIES
This page describes a medical resource connection and service coordination framework. It is not a diagnosis, prescription or individualized treatment recommendation. The treating medical institution decides whether to accept a case and how to assess or treat it.
